  Went six or seven times a couple years ago. At first things seemed fine and it was nice to get the old time barber experience from a local business, but every visit was progressively worse. The final straw that stopped me from going was when he insulted me while getting my haircut with one of his regulars. They were both making fun that young guys like me only get out hair cut short because we don't want to comb it and take care of it, okay that's fine I can take some jokes at my expense, but they kept going on and on about it, just completely uncomfortable and not something you want to hear while you're paying good money. What's even more odd is he's a veteran himself and knows a lot of veterans like to keep that short military haircut. Maybe he was trying to make himself look cool or something? Just bizarre, I quit going after that visit, I'll take my money somewhere else and be treated with respect.
  
  Also it should be pointed out that he actually shaves with a shavette and NOT a straight razor. For those wanting a true straight shave.
